As the days grow colder, the need for a safe, warm place to call home becomes even more urgent for too many in our community. At the Manitowoc Warming Shelter, we are committed to providing this essential warmth and safety from November through April. But with demand increasing each year, we urgently need your help to expand our capacity.
On February 28, 2026, we will be hosting The Coldest Night of the Year—an event designed not only to raise awareness, but to bring our community together in support of building a new, permanent shelter. Your participation and support can make a meaningful difference for individuals who would otherwise face the bitter cold without refuge.
