Ground level Fellowship Hall and Community Room of First Presbyterian Church, (502 N 8th Street, Manitowoc, WI 54220) 

• Entry and exit from 8th Street Doors
• The Warming Shelter doesn’t offer shower or laundry facilities. 

Shelter will be limited to a maximum of 12 individuals.

• Individuals are taken daily on a first come first served basis.
• Reservations may be taken for an approved documented work conflict.

The Manitowoc Warming Shelter will be open typically November through April.

Specifics dates will vary season by season. 

The Manitowoc Warming Shelter opens its doors for guests:

• 6:30pm (Monday – Friday) and 5:30pm (Saturday & Sunday).
• Doors are locked at 8:30pm and admittance is only allowed after 8:30pm through Law Enforcement recommendation.
• Guests will exit the Shelter by 8:00am.
• Guests will be allowed in after 8:30pm for pre-approved documented work scheduling.
• If Guests leave the building during operational hours they will not be allowed back in
• Guests can only leave and return during the evening with for pre-approved documented emergencies or work schedules.

• Guests are let into the vestibule at 6:30pm (Monday – Friday) and 5:30pm (Saturday & Sunday).
• Guests sign and agree to rules
• Guests are assigned a bin
• Guests may choose any cot on their self-identified gender side of the room
• Guest may have a hot dinner
• Lights and phone usage ends at 10:00pm
• Guest are awakened at 6:30am
• A lite breakfast is served from 7:00am-7:30am
• Guests leave the building by 8:00am after their cot has been folded, the linens put in the mark bins and their area is clean.
